The Cairns Jockey Club is thrilled to announce an exciting three-year partnership with Cairns Central, North Queensland’s premier retail destination, as the official supporter of Fashions on the Field during the 2025 Great Northern Brewing Co Cairns Super Carnival.

Running from 15 – 23 August 2025, the Super Carnival will feature three incredible race days, two dazzling Fashions on the Field events, and a tropical high tea party, all set in the heart of Far North Queensland’s racing and fashion calendar.

Cairns Jockey Club General Manager Cameron Riches expressed his enthusiasm for the long-term partnership:

As part of this exciting new agreement, Cairns Central and the Cairns Jockey Club are proud to announce an elevated Fashions on the Field experience for Cairns Cup Day, headlined by a stellar judging lineup.

Leading the panel is celebrity stylist and Sunrise fashion commentator Elliot Garnaut, who brings national star power and trendsetting fashion expertise to the event. Known for his bold styling, charismatic stage presence, and work with some of Australia’s most recognised names and brands, Garnaut has styled celebrities including Phoebe Tonkin and Carrie Bickmore, and has led fashion campaigns for brands such as Hugo Boss, Bonds, and Bec and Bridge.

Joining Elliot on the judging panel is his mother, Kathy Garnaut, a luminary in the Australian fashion world. Renowned for her impeccable eye for detail and backed by decades of experience, Garnaut brings an elevated and expert perspective to this year’s panel.

They will be joined by Rebecca Harding – a celebrated Australian model, digital talent, and entrepreneur. Rebecca has graced campaigns for luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Piaget, Hugo Boss, and Alex Perry. Her impeccable style and keen eye for fashion have made her a standout figure in the industry.

“I’m genuinely so excited to visit Tropical North Queensland, it’s such a special part of the country,” Elliot Garnaut said. “From the reef to the rainforest, the natural beauty and energy of the region are truly unmatched. I’ll definitely be carving out time to explore while I’m here, whether it’s a dip at Palm Cove or a relaxing moment by the pool (as a Melbournian I am desperate for some heat!).
