Perched on the top level of the two-storey marquee, the Observation Deck is the perfect place to experience the excitement of the Red Beret Hotel Cairns Cup with a birds eye view. Guests will indulge in a three course buffet lunch and beverages whilst enjoying live music.

Antipasto Food Station

A fine selection of Australian cheeses with double brie, blue vain and vintage cheddar accompanied with Spanish chorizo sausage and a selection of olives, cocktail onions, cornichons, walnuts, apricots and a duo of dips

Selection of fresh breads with butter


Fresh local prawns 100g per person served on ice with lemon and Marie rose sauce

Local Tableland rib fillet cooked medium rare and marinated with garlic, ginger, chilli and coriander

Slowly cooked chemoula chicken

Shaved leg of ham served with a selection of mustards

Cambodian Slaw Salad

Cabbage, garlic, ginger and chilli served with coriander, mint, Thai basil, bean shoots, carrot, cherry tomatoes and cucumber finished with toasted peanuts and fried onions drizzled with sesame dressing

Baby Spinach and Pine Nut Salad

Baby spinach and pine nut salad with cherry tomatoes, Persian feta, Spanish onion, roasted butternut pumpkin and seeded mustard dressing
