Cairns Cup - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring my Children?
Cairns Cup is an 18+ event.  Children under the age of 3 are allowed, but must be with a parent or guardian at all times.

What if I forget my ID?
No ID – No Entry

When will I receive my Tickets? 
Tickets will be mailed out by the 30th July;  all bookings after this date will need to be collected from the CJC office.  Along with your Tickets you will receive your armband and information on the event.  You will need to have both the ticket and armband to gain entry.

Can I bring my own Catering?
Yes, but please remember all bags and eskies will be screen by security as you pass through the front gates.

Can I bring my own Alcohol?
No, Strictly no BYO is allowed.  No alcohol is allowed to be brought onto or taken off the premises.  The Car Park will be patrolled by Police and Security, so please no drinking in the Car Park.

What should I bring to the Cairns Cup?
Camera, sunscreen, money, ID, Tickets and Armbands, Band Aids (for blisters), your mates and hopefully a few good tips….. Please be Sun Smart…it does get hot…drink responsible and drink plenty of water!

If I work at the Stables and I’m under 18 can I still come to the Cairns Cup?
No, sorry. 

Can I bring my vehicle in to set-up a marquee?
Please contact the CJC Office to get a vehicle permit, strict vehicle curfew times are in place for this event.

I am a horse owner and I have a horse racing, do I get Free Entry?
Yes, please remember to bring your owners card.
